As a Harvest Worker, you will support the collection, handling, and basic processing of crops during the harvest season. Your work will contribute directly to the productivity of the farm by helping ensure that produce is harvested efficiently, handled carefully, and prepared for transport, storage, or further processing.
Your responsibilities may include:
- harvesting fruits, vegetables, or other crops by hand or with basic tools, depending on the type of agricultural operation
- collecting, sorting, and handling produce carefully to maintain quality and reduce damage
- placing harvested crops into crates, containers, or designated storage areas
- following instructions on harvesting methods, quality standards, and productivity targets
- assisting with basic field preparation, cleaning, or support tasks related to harvest operations
- working outdoors in varying weather conditions and adapting to seasonal workload demands
- maintaining cleanliness and order in working areas, equipment zones, and storage spaces
- using tools, containers, and basic agricultural equipment safely and responsibly
- supporting supervisors and other team members to ensure an efficient and coordinated workflow
- following workplace safety rules and farm procedures at all times
Qualifications and Requirements:
- previous agricultural or harvest experience is an advantage, but not always required
- physical stamina and willingness to perform manual outdoor work
- ability to work in different weather conditions and during busy seasonal periods
